Born in Yorkshire, Annette Wardell has firmly established herself as one of the most talented singers of her generation. Performing Principal roles at Opera Houses around the world, and gracing concert platforms with equal ease, she is in constant demand. Most recently seen performing the role of  Mabel to great critical acclaim in the Raymond Gubbay production of "Pirates Of Penzance" ( directed by and starring Alistair McGowan); her repertoire is wide and varied, and includes concert performances with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra as well as full operatic roles. Hailed by the British Press as the "soprano to watch", and with " the most sublime vocal quality"; she is indeed a rare talent.
